Buffalo clothing is manufactured here in the UK. The range is designed for the professional and committed outdoor enthusiast for use in a variety of activities and conditions, including the very worst winter weather.

Buffalo clothing was originally intended to be used as a one layer system of winter clothing. The aim was that it would replace the various layers of conventional clothing for climbers, winter hill walkers and fell runners.

However, the level of comfort offered by Buffalo clothes led to them being worn during the course of many other activities.

The Mountain and Special 6 Shirts have become must have products within the military arenas and their popularity is mirrored in the civilian markets.

The lighter insulation with its high wicking performance, produces the ultimate lightweight high activity clothing system. This jacket is a very useful garment in its own right. Designed with two zipped hand warmer pockets, concealed hood in the adjustable collar, and elasticated drawcord in the bottom hem. Touch and Close fastening is used on the wrist adjusters. Packs down to only 24 x 12cm.

Buffalo Active Lite Shirt  (Ref BUFFACTLITE)

This shirt is made with a shell of newly developed fabric which is similar to Pertex 6, but with a more textured and softer appearance. Our tests throughout last winter have found the performance of the Active Lite Shirt adequately comparable to the other Teclite range of Shirts and Jackets.

Buffalo Teclite Cycle Shirt  (Ref BUFFTECCYC)

Designed to create a performance level between the "Cycle Shirt" and the "Windshirt, this lightweight top is for cycling in warmer weather or when producing a high energy output over a considerable period. The Pertex protects against the elements, whilst the 'Teclite' lining provides ample insulation for Spring to Autumn. More importantly this micro-pile very rapidly wicks moisture away from the body. Ventilation is achieved through the long neck zip and a concealed vent on the upper back. Cuffs are elasticated allowing them to be pulled up over the elbows. Combined with the rapid moisture dispersal of the micro-pile which quickly removes sweat from the skin, this is also a shirt to keep you cool when needed.

Buffalo Mitts  (Ref BUFFMIT)

The Buffalo mitts keep your hands snugly warm and dry very quickly when worn or in the hand warmer pocket of the Shirt. Two pairs worn together, (hand size plus size above) are usually adequate down to -40c.

The head can loose up to 40% of body heat, therefore to maintain overall comfort it is important to insulate the head in cold or windy conditions.
