G Shock Watches
G-Shock watches were launched in 1983 and were designed to withstand the "Triple 10" criteria. The G-Shock three 10's are:
- A minimum of 10 year usage
- 10 bar of pressure (100m water resistance)
- A 10 metre fall (shock resistance)
Today G-Shock watches all still conform to these criteria and also offer strong styling along with a variety of additional features. These include:
- World time
- Multi alarm functions
- Solar powered batteries
- Countdown timers
- Waveceptor atomic timekeeping facilities
The continuing popularity of G-Shock watches and introduction of some 'retro' styled G-Shocks confirms that the brand has surpassed all its original goals and its mission to be "the toughest watch of all time".
